Emily Cheng, D.D.S.
Dr. Cheng earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the UCSF School of Dentistry in 2023. During her training, she conducted a research project developing and testing a mobile app designed to help children learn about oral health and build healthy hygiene and dietary habits. Experiences like this, along with volunteering on dental missions, shaped her philosophy of emphasizing education and prevention. Dr. Cheng’s approach is simple: treat every patient like family. She believes compassion, integrity, and transparency are the foundation of excellent care, and she is known for her gentle touch and meticulous attention to detail. She is fluent in Mandarin and enjoys caring for patients of all ages and diverse backgrounds.
Dr. Cheng grew up in Virginia and NorCal and met her husband during their undergraduate years at UC Berkeley. Today, they live in the South Bay with their two young children and are actively involved in their local church community. Outside the office, she enjoys growing indoor plants, taking on simple DIY home projects, and exploring the Bay Area on family day trips.
